In Thailand these beautiful water lilies are called "Royal", Richard.
Richard Standley: Some of them had a diameter over two meters Ray!

Je souris en voyant ton image car lorsqu'elle était toute petite, ma fille avait vu ce genre de feuille sur un plan d'eau et s'était écriée "maman, des moules à  tartes". Heureusement je suis plus poétique et me régale de ces feuilles et des beaux reflets dans l'eau

They are the most unusual of plants I always think.
